No. Your team starts with 30, you technically start with 15.
From the Comprehensive Rules (Section 600 governs multiplayer variants, 606 is 2HG specifically):
606.9a If an effect needs to know the value of an individual player's life total, that effect uses the team's life total divided by two, rounded up, instead.
So you would have to get your team's life total up to 60 for the Ascendant to flip.
