You have a 120 volts AC generator that you want to connect to a charger to generate 12 VDC, connected to an inverter to generate 120 VAC? Seems strange.
To answer the question, it depends on the charger and the inverter, but I don't think so. The charger delivers a half or full wave rectified waveform, and the inverter expects to see a smooth DC voltage around 10 to 15 volts.
