Installing A Screen Protector On The Motorola Atrix
The first step to properly installing your Motorola Atrix screen protector is by purchasing a screen protector that fits the size of the Atrix's screen. This accessory can be found at local mobile stores or online. If you are particularly picky about fingerprints be sure to get a screen guard that specializes that. If you are afraid that you might mess up during installation then be sure to pick up a screen protector pack. If there is none offered, consider buying two packages for safety measures. A screen cleanser should also be looked at especially since you will need to have a clean screen for you to properly install the screen guard.
Okay, so now you have your screen protector. The next step you should take is removing any Motorola Atrix case or accessories if you have any on your phone. A case needs to be removed because it might be covering a part of the screen that needs to get covered by the protector.
Use the screen cleaner and carefully clean your screen. If you didn’t pick any up, just be sure to clean your screen thoroughly. However, if you did pick some up, be sure to follow the instructions and properly clean the screen. Try to not leave any dirt, crumbs or any fingerprints.
Once your screen is clean you may start preparing the protector. You can also wash your hands to be on the safe side. Once you hands have been washed grab the screen protector on opposite ends of the screen guard. Slowly lower the screen guard and try to match it up evenly with the screen. When you are happy with the placement, push one corner down and steadily smooth the protector over the screen to avoid any bubbles (while still holding on to the other corner for stability) until you get to the corner where your other hand is.
If you notice that you screen is bubble free then you are finished. Now you can replace any Motorola Atrix accessories or cases that you may have had to remove before. Keep in mind that depending on what kind of wear and tear your phone may endure in the future, you may have to replace the screen protector every so often. You'll know it's time to change protectors if the edges or corners begin to peel off.
