A Review Of The Capabilities Of The Xerox 4510 Laser Printer Series
The Xerox 4510 Printer is a black-and-white laser type of printer that's suitable for a busy office environment. Connectivity options allow for use with a single computer or within a large workgroup with up to 25 users. It boasts of features that can handle both day-to-day and specialized printing tasks. Fast processor, large media handling capacity and device management utilities ensure that varying productivity demands are met especially when coupled with Xerox 4510 toner.
Within it is a fast processor that runs at 533MHz. This allows the machine to provide as many as 45 black-and-white pages every minute. Also, to get everyday jobs done quickly, the first page is out in as short as 8 seconds. Other than being a fast performer, its Xerox toner cartridge is powerful enough to handle a heavy workload. In fact, the duty cycle is set by the manufacturer at 250000 pages every month.
Standard input media handling capacity is 700 sheets. However, attachment of optional paper trays can bring that capacity up to a staggering 1800 sheets. There are a variety of media types which can be handled, including regular paper, coated, recycled, card stock, transparencies, labels, envelopes, etc. Media sizes which can be handled are those from a minimum of 3 inches x 5 inches to a maximum of 8.5 inches x 14 inches.
Multiple connectivity choices ensure easy installation, whether for personal use or sharing by a workgroup. Both high-speed USB 2.0 and parallel (IEEE 1284) ports are available for hooking up to a computer. There's also a 10/100Base-TX Ethernet card for easy workgroup connection with up to 25 users. Eliminate a clutter or dangling wires in the office by using an optional IEEE 802.11 wireless network adaptor.
Its edge over other similar machines is its ability to carry out specialty printing jobs. For instance, it can handle tasks requiring edge-to-edge or full bleed printing. Other capabilities include printing of posters, booklets, watermarks, negative image and mirror image. Xerox understands that time is precious. That's why it has thrown in the Load While Run feature which lets you restock media without interrupting the printer's performance.
Device management utilities are around to help with better printer administration. For instance, there's the CentreWare Internet Services Embedded Web Server to let you troubleshoot the machine and order consumables online. Also, there's the PrintingScout application, especially handy when involving a workgroup. With this, the administrator can receive job and machine usage status for controlling costs effectively.
A standard 128MB memory comes bundled with the package. But it may be expanded to as large as 512MB for handling of more complicated and large-sized printing chores. Included language emulations are PCL 6, PCL 5e and Adobe PostScript 3. Included typefaces are 81 PCLfonts and 139 Adobe PostScript fonts. Large buttons and LCD screen grace the top panel, making sure that machine operation is hassle-free.
The Xerox 4510 Printer has a compact body that weighs just a little more than 45 lb. It has a dimension of 16.6" (length) x 18.3" (width) x 15.9" (height). With Xerox 4510 compatible printer toner cartridge and ability to do special printing jobs, meeting the output needs of an office, no matter how busy, is possible. Administration of this monochrome laser printer within a network can be carried out much better because of the device management tools around.
How do I delete folders from my driver without extracting them?
I have uninstalled my Kodak Easy Share printer dock. I have folders left behind that I cannot delete that are located in
C:WINDOWSI386DRIVER.CAB
What I mean by I cannot delete is that my only options are copy or extract. I don't want to copy the folder, do not know what extract means, and I just want these 3 folders gone.
I went under processes but don't know what culprit I am looking for and didn't see anything that said Kodak. I have gone under my Windows Firewall and made sure Windows doesn't allow Kodak Easy Share as an exception but I still want to delete the folders.
Any advice?
I know what I deleted. That isn't the problem. I need to know how to delete the 3 folders in question. The only options I am given is copying and extracting. I don't want to do either of those.
I am looking for an answer to this question...not an answer saying not to delete anything I am unsure about. I am sure of what I'm deleting. Just need to know how to do it.
yes, don't delete things that you don't understand what they are
